Meet Our Featured Patient: Cooper!
Cooper’s Story of Care, Hope, and Happy Days
A sandy nose, a joyful smile, and a beach full of possibilities.
Looking at Cooper’s summer photos, you might never guess how much this beloved Animal Care of Oradell patient has been through.
After a sudden illness and a lymphoma diagnosis, Cooper and his family faced an uncertain road. Today, we’re honored to share his story and the beautiful moments his family has made along the way.
A Sudden Illness and a Remarkable Response
Cooper became very sick very quickly and was diagnosed with lymphoma. During the course of his illness, he also lost his vision.
He was hospitalized at Oradell Animal Hospital, where he began chemotherapy. Cooper responded remarkably well to treatment: he entered remission and regained his sight.
For his family and everyone who cares about him, those developments were wonderful reasons to celebrate.
At Animal Care of Oradell, we’re grateful to be part of Cooper’s veterinary care. We also want to recognize the team at Oradell Animal Hospital, where he received hospitalization and chemotherapy.
His story reflects the dedication of his family and the veterinary professionals involved in his care.
A Summer Filled With Cooper’s Favorite Things
With Cooper in remission, his family made a point of giving him a summer filled with the things he loves.
There were beach adventures, splashes in the surf, sandy paws, and quiet moments watching the sunset. His family’s photos capture both his playful personality and the simple happiness of spending time together.
One photo shows Cooper smiling beside his name written in the sand. Another catches him running along the shoreline. Others show him taking in the view, with his people nearby to share the moment.

Making Room for Joy
What touches us most about Cooper’s family is the thought they’ve put into making these memories.
Through a difficult experience, they’ve continued to see and celebrate everything that makes Cooper himself: his love of the water, his sense of adventure, and his place in their family.
