Cancellation & Missed Appointment Policy – 2025

Since 2012, Animal Care of Oradell has been dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care for Oradell’s furry citizens. We are proud to continue serving our community in this way.

Since the onset of the 2020 pandemic, thousands of pets have found forever homes, and many families in our community have welcomed new furry family members. This is wonderful news for pets and people alike! As demand for veterinary care continues to grow, we must keep our schedule as efficient as possible to ensure we can treat as many pets as needed.

For this reason, we kindly ask that if you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice so that we may offer the time to another pet in need. We understand that unexpected events may arise, but we ask that you notify us as soon as possible once you know you will not be able to attend.

Together, we can ensure pets receive timely care while we continue doing what we do best—delivering top-quality veterinary care to your pets and making you feel just as special.

Policy Details

• A valid credit card must be kept on file in order to process called-in medication requests, extended appointments, and same-day appointments.
• If less than 24 hours’ notice is given for a cancellation, the full appointment fee will be charged to the payment method on file.
• Surgical and dental procedures not canceled within 24 hours will incur a $200 cancellation fee.
• Repeated missed appointments may result in:
  • Same-day only scheduling for future visits.
  • Prepayment of examination fees before booking.
